Reports reaching PCB from Anambra State University, Igbariam campus has it that two students of the school have been killed by armed robbers who invaded the students lodge last night to dislodge the students of their belongings and in the process shot two dead while many other students were injured.
It was gathered that the angry students took to the streets to vent their anger on the school authorities and the State Government blaming lack of security for the deaths of their fellow students.
The students who demanded to speak with Governor Peter Obi were later calmed down by the Vice chancellor who addressed them a while ago.
Students say they pay N135,000 per session for new students and 107,000 for old students and still don’t have security or even a functioning hospital, plus no light!
